The ever-changing landscape of aesthetic medicine has seen various treatment trends emerge over recent years that have helped patients combat the signs of ageing. One trend that has arisen is the liquid facelift – a procedure that helps tighten wrinkles and plump skin for a younger, fresher-looking appearance.
However, patients are now reaching for a gentler approach to anti-ageing with skin boosters making for the perfect option for a revived look. Unlike anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, such as Revoke 50 or Seventy Hyal 2000, provide a subtle and less-obvious look in comparison to the better-known, non-surgical treatments. And whilst skincare, especially the good kind, can go a long way to aid in increasing skin radiance – no topical cream or serum can match the effects of aesthetic injections.
How Skin Boosters Work
Skin booster injections are a soft, gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). This is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin and holds incredible amounts of moisture. However, HA depletes with many factors including age, sun damage, genetics, smoking and environmental factors which is what causes skin to become dry and dehydrated.
Microinjections of hyaluronic acid restores the moisture in the skin, which improves its elasticity, firmness and radiance.
Skin Boosters are injected using microdroplet or mesotherapy technique of tiny injections. This process of delivering skin boosters also triggers the skin’s own repair resulting in collagen production and improved skin elasticity.
Depending on the type of skin booster and ingredients some of the potential benefits include:
- Improved and more radiant complexion
- Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
- Healthier skin tone
- Better hydration – ‘glowing’ skin
- Firmer skin texture and tone
- Improved skin elasticity
- Reduced dry patches
- Improved overall appearance in skin tone
Pre Treatment Advice
- Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising)

- If you have a history of cold sores please let your provider know, se your anti-viral medication prior to treatment.

Seventy Hyal
Seventy Hyal 2000 is a bio-stimulating skin booster that aims to improve the levels of hydration within the skin, whilst also encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin.
Seventy Hyal 2000 contains a solution of sterile, pyrogen-free, viscoelastic sodium hyaluronate (also known as hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance and is present in the body wherever moisture is stored. It is the basic substance of the skin which consists of up to 55% sodium hyaluronate.
The difference in the treatment with Seventy Hyal 2000 is the introduction of active fragments of HA at different molecular weights. Biological functions elicited are differentiated according to HA molecular weight.
Seventy Hyal 2000 contains high molecular weight > (2000 kDa) sodium hyaluronate (HA) 1.5% obtained by bacterial fermentation without any chemical modification.
Other Seventy Hyal ingredients include: Sodium Chloride, Disodium Phosphate 2H20 Monosodium Phosphate 2H20, and water for injection.
