Anti Wrinkle Injections
Expected results – soften the appearance of wrinkles
Treatment time – 15 to 30 mins

When looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles , treatments such as Botox (Botulinum toxin type A), when administered by a trained professional, can leave you with the softened appearance by relaxing the muscle movement, leaving a smooth, fresh and rejuvenated look.
Botox is a purified form of the botulinum toxin that is obtained from bacteria. Though it is deadly in larger amounts, the tiny, regulated amount of Botox given to correct wrinkles has been used safely for decades.
Botox works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. When those nerve signals are interrupted, the affected muscle is temporarily paralyzed or frozen. Without movement of these selected muscles in the face, certain wrinkles may be softened, reduced, or even removed.
Botox and other treatments made with botulinum toxin are sometimes called neuromodulators or neurotoxins.
In my clinic in Romiley, anti-wrinkle injections are one of my most popular cosmetic treatments for male and female clients of all ages and skin types.
The results from botox treatment can restore the confidence you may have lost over time. After administering anti-wrinkle injections for over 18 years and having performed many procedures, I am highly skilled in administering ‘BOTOX’ treatments and consistently create amazing results that are natural-looking and subtle, and make you look fresh. People may wonder why you’re looking so well, but they’ll never know (unless you tell them).
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it last ?
- Anti-wrinkle injections last for three to six months depending on the client, with top up treatments available should you wish.(between 2-4 weeks after the initial injections)
- During the treatment, I will use a specially developed technique to administer a controlled amount of Botox into the area using a fine needle. Numbing cream is available should you need it, but the procedure is relatively pain-free, and many of my clients choose to have treatment without it .
- Results are noticeable within a few days, with optimum results becoming apparent at around 2 weeks post-treatment.
Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to treat areas such as:
- Frown lines – Forehead lines resulting from gathering of tissue between the eyebrows or fold, and caused by squinting and frowning.

- Bunny Lines – Fine wrinkles that appear when you scrunch up your nose, such as when you smile or laugh.

For up to 24 hours you should avoid strenuous activity and exposing the skin to extremes of heat or cold should also be avoided for up to 1 week.
